Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective science instruction for grades 6–9 aligned with state standards and district curriculum.
• Create engaging, hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that encourage scientific exploration and real-world application.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support student growth.
• Develop and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, assessments, and technology to enhance learning.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of grades and performance.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student achievement and classroom expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to improve educational outcomes.
• Participate in professional development and maintain professional responsibilities.
• Support school initiatives and participate in extracurricular activities, coaching, or student organizations as appropriate
