Job summary

ALIS Software LLC is seeking a highly experienced MS Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant for a long-term contract in Austin, TX. Must have 13+ years ERP consulting with deep D365 Finance expertise.

You will lead finance-focused implementations, migrations, and process improvements across GL, AP, AR, and more. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless financial integration, support month-end close, and drive best-practice

Qualifications

• 13+ years ERP consulting experience with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Experience integrating Finance with SCM, Inventory, Procurement, Warehouse, and Manufacturing.
• Strong financial controls, audit, and compliance knowledge.
• Data migration, testing, training, and deployment experience.
• Ability to run solution workshops and stakeholder discussions independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancements, upgrades, and support.
• Gather requirements and translate into scalable D365 Finance solutions.
• Configure GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, and Cost Accounting.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Design P2P, O2C, and R2R processes and data migration strategy.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and deployment activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and business users.
• Engage executives to align ERP with business goals.

LOOKING ONLY FINANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

• Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support engagements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 Finance solutions.
• Configure and optimize Finance modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Cash & Bank Management
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Cost Accounting
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure seamless financial integration.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Design and implement Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Participate in solution design workshops and business process re-engineering initiatives.
• Develop functional design documents and support technical teams during development.
• Define data migration strategy and validate migrated financial data.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Drive adoption of best practices and standard D365 capabilities.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and business users.
• Work with executive stakeholders to align ERP solutions with business goals.
• 12+ years of ERP consulting experience with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Experience integrating Finance with:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Warehouse Management
  • Manufacturing Operations
• Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance processes.
• Experience with data migration, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Ability to conduct solution workshops and stakeholder discussions independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in furniture, retail, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, or eCommerce domains. These environments typically involve extensive inventory management, warehousing, sourcing, procurement, and financial operations.
• Experience with multi-company and multi-entity financial environments.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Azure integrations and data platforms.
• Experience with third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse, and inventory management integrations.
• Understanding of demand planning, product lifecycle, and supply chain finance processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Accounting or Finance-related certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus
