Job summary

Fifthgen Tech Solution is seeking an experienced D365 FSCM Functional Finance Consultant to join our ERP practice. You will work with clients to implement and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, focusing on core finance modules and close processes.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with GL, AP, AR, cash management, and fixed assets, plus strong requirements gathering, documentation, and testing skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Strong hands-on experience in D365 FSCM Functional Finance.
• CA / ICWA qualification.
• Valid Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification.
• Hands-on experience with GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank Management, and Fixed Assets.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, reporting, and financial closing processes.
• Experience in functional documentation, requirement gathering, and test case preparation.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), functional specifications, and business process documentation.
• Validate process mapping and customized business requirements.
• Understand and analyze business workflows and financial processes.
• Prepare functional test scenarios and test cases.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Work on end-to-end finance processes, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules.
• Work on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash & Bank Management, and Fixed Assets.
• Demonstrate good understanding of Project Management and Project Accounting.
• Perform project scoping, functional analysis, and estimation.
• Interact with customers, senior stakeholders, and executive management.
• Support customer training and functional design reviews.
