Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Middle School Competitive Cheerleading Coach to lead and develop its junior high program. The coach will work under the Athletic Director, coordinating practices, tryouts, and in-season performances at the middle school facility.

The role emphasizes building a positive team culture, ensuring safe cheer routines, and collaborating with staff to fit student schedules and school activities. Prior coaching experience and cheer knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coaching at the secondary level preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Coach middle school competitive cheerleading during designated times.
• Support development and execution of the cheer program in and out of season.
• Collaborate with Athletic Director and school staff to align with schedules.
