Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum with written evidence of preparation.
• Plan lessons accommodating different learning styles and abilities.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use appropriate instructional strategies, materials, and technology to meet student needs.
• Assess student learning and use results to plan instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues.
