Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Mobile Response Team Aircraft Maintenance Technician to travel to customer aircraft and perform maintenance, inspections, and alterations under FAA repair station authority. Travel estimated 25-75% with some overnight or odd hours.

The role requires an A&P certificate with at least 3 years of mobile repair or AOG experience, ability to work in varying shifts, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of aircraft drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and external parties.
• Ability to identify discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, modifications, and service on a variety of customer aircraft with minimal supervision.
• Travel extensively within region and occasionally outside of region to customer aircraft for maintenance events and for technical training.
• Must be available to work different shifts and weekends as requested to support customer needs.
• Maintain an outstanding attendance record.
• Adhere to all company, FAA and OSHA related policies and procedures.
• Promote an efficient and professional work environment.
