Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Manufacturing & Operations East Production Operations in Dulles, VA is seeking a Materials Requirements Planning Analyst at Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team. The role will design, implement, and sustain an integrated MRP environment to synchronize demand and supply planning, production scheduling, and inventory control.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain, develop training materials, analyze data with Cognos and other tools, and contribute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience, or advanced degree with fewer years.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Costpoint, SAP) in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong Excel skills for large datasets and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and training on effective use of the MRP system for Manufacturing/I&T and other functional partners
• Partner with Engineering to manage product data (PDM) and ensure accurate, timely transfer of information into the ERP system
• Investigate and learn new software modules with minimal guidance, documenting processes to improve operational efficiency
• Develop, deliver, and update system training materials; recommend and document procedural improvements as needed
• Define, track, and report key metrics to measure system performance and drive continuous improvement
• Extract and analyze data using Cognos and other reporting tools to support decision making
• Troubleshoot system issues, clearly articulate problems, and drive resolutions with internal teams and external software providers
