RTX’s Pratt & Whitney division in East Hartford is seeking an experienced program/operations leader to oversee MRO/U operations support, coordinating with Customer Support Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain and related groups. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and will involve 10% domestic/international travel. The position is onsite at the East Hartford site, offering a salary range of 132,400–251,600 USD and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Logistics, Management with 10+ years prior relevant experience; OR
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management or Business with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, supply chain and/or materials.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical MRO/U operations support by coordinating timely solutions with functional groups (Customer Support Engineering, Support Equipment, Logistics Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial, etc.)
• Host daily network escalation calls to ensure awareness and prioritization of global needs
• Prepare documentation and communicate status to internal customers, stakeholders and executive level leadership
• Represent sustainment operations in the development of “one system and process” to manage and communicate MRO/U network reporting
• Interface with and monitor the performance of 3rd party MRO Product Service Providers (PSPs)
• Identify and resolve process gaps and systematic issues critical to supporting deliveries
• Develop and establish forward thinking strategies to support growth, maturity and expansion of the F135 sustainment network
• Occasional domestic and international travel (10%) may be required to support business needs.
