Job summary

George’s Inc. is seeking a MRO Tool Crib Attendant to organize parts and maintain a perpetual inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role ensures correct parts are picked, issued, and received for maintenance and authorized personnel.

Responsibilities include daily inventory counts, processing POs, moving parts with a forklift, and maintaining crib security and accurate records. High school diploma plus 1+ year of parts experience is required, with strong Excel skills and solid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1+ year of parts or similar experience
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Office Suite)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory/cycle counts and requisition parts.
• Maintain perpetual inventory of parts and equipment and ensure accurate records.
• Receive and issue parts in the system daily; process POs in real time.
• Move parts with a forklift and assist in stocking and organizing the parts room.
• Maintain crib security and control access to parts area.
• Communicate part needs with shop leads, supervisor and buyer.
• Assist with annual evaluation of parts usage to optimize stocking.
• Lift up to 70 pounds with/without team assistance.
• Manning the crib window/desk and handle weekend requests for parts.
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of parts returned or issued.
• Keep accurate records of parts inventory and daily incoming orders.
