Job summary

Albertsons Companies in the Phoenix area is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk I for a 4-month, onsite contract role at the Tempe Milk Plant. Hours are 40 per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with occasional overtime or weekend work after training.

The Parts Clerk will manage MRO inventory to support maintenance technicians, maintain CMMS records, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock levels. High school diploma and 2 years’ inventory experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, storeroom management, or industrial purchasing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
• Experience with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or CMMS platforms is a plus.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, and stock maintenance parts and supplies.
• Maintain inventory records within CMMS, SAP, or other systems.
• Perform routine cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts.
• Track usage trends and suggest inventory adjustments.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized storeroom and safe storage practices.
• Assist with audits and compliance related to inventory controls.
