Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking an experienced candidate for a role involving comprehensive management of aviation-related contracts. The ideal candidate will ensure customer satisfaction, manage contract profitability, and respond effectively to client issues while working closely with internal teams.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least five years of experience in sales or contract management in the aviation industry. Proficiency with ERP systems and multilingual abilities are a plus.

  • Experience in the aviation industry within MRO is preferred.
  • Must have U.S. Person status or government authorization to access export-controlled technology.

The ideal candidate will provide all necessary aircraft nacelle support on pre- and post-contractual administration, management, and Terms & Conditions of assigned aviation related contracts. This role may also involve definition, management, and execution of risk modelling activities, management of warranty claims in support of the contracts/projects, and development, management and execution of contract estimating activities in support of tenders and project reviews.

What YOU Will Do
  • Responsibility for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts.
  • Assure timely resolution of customer issues and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts.
  • Function as liaison between internal organizations and customers.
  • Assist on sales campaigns for new contracts and proposals.
  • Review customer proposed purchase and repair orders, provide feedback and negotiate with customers.
  • Travel to aviation trade shows and customers around the globe, primarily in the Americas region.
  • Interact with members of customer service, parts & transactional services, field service, repair service, and other teams.
  • Contribute to the development of sales and business plans for the business unit.
  • Present to leadership in the business.
  • Work with cross‑business teams and important business unit clients.
  • Assist and potentially lead complex long‑term processes and negotiations with important clients.
  • Assist and sometimes lead in generating operating procedures to support assigned customers and contracts as well as continuous improvement activities for the business unit.
  • Support audits of the business unit from time to time.
What YOU Must Bring To Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college and/or equivalent combination of education/experience. Minimum of 5 years of relatable experience in Sales, Customer Contract or Product Management. Experience managing relationships with business customers. Recent experience in the aviation industry within MRO is preferred.
  • Access to export‑controlled technology requires U.S. Person status or government authorization.
  • You must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status.

  • Working knowledge of aircraft or component MRO.
  • Working knowledge of airline sourcing processes and CTQs.
  • At least 5 years of experience selling to airlines.
  • Multilingual with emphasis on Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Estimate salary range for this role: $88,200 to $130,000 per year. ST Engineering considers several factors when extending job offers, including relevant work experience, education, training, certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
