Job summary

Novolex in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Maintenance MRO Buyer on day shift to manage MRO procurement and supplier relations. The role involves following up on purchase orders, generating requisitions, obtaining approvals, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure cost-effective, timely MRO procurement.

You will monitor MRO expenses, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement in MRO processes while collaborating with internal clients and providers to maximize savings and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase of Factory MRO & indirect materials.
• Generate monitoring reports on MRO expenses per department.
• Monitor MRO consumption and SAP inventory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on MRO purchase orders
• Generate requisitions and purchase orders in the system
• Obtain necessary authorizations and approvals as per procedures to make MRO purchases
• Monitor MROs inventory
• Maintain good relations with providers
• Maintain good relations with internal clients by providing good service
• Assess MRO provider performance periodically
• Make comparisons to select best MRO providers for cost-quality
• Generate continuous improvement projects for MRO processes related to purchases
