Job summary

LHH in Detroit is seeking an experienced Purchaser to manage purchasing for MRO, indirect materials, and services. You will source suppliers, negotiate terms, and monitor performance to meet quality and delivery targets.

Role requires 5-8 years in purchasing, ideally in automotive or industrial settings, with strong supplier management and ERP experience. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Finance to optimize costs and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in MRO, indirect materials, or services.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar industrial environment preferred.
• Strong supplier management, sourcing, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working in a structured manufacturing organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
