Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level required.
• Certification by ARMRIT or ARRT is mandatory.

Job description

Scope of Work

The MRI Technologist Flex B agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East (Royal Oak, Troy, Grosse Pointe and Farmington Hills). This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at the Corewell Health Southfield Center.
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent. Graduated of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 2 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level
• Certification by American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI)-ARMRIT or
• Certification by American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI)-ARRT
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association/Red Cross.
