Job summary

UPMC Touchstone Medical Imaging in York, Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join a joint venture with UPMC and Touchstone Medical Imaging. The role offers daytime hours, Monday to Friday, with no on-call or holidays, and requires ARRT certification and Pennsylvania licensure.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, scanning, and ensuring safety, while benefiting from a premium base pay and opportunities for growth through our advancement academy.

Qualifications

• Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality.
• Pennsylvania license is required.
• Graduate of approved program for Radiological Technology.
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard and mouse for scanning, RIS and PACS use.
• Organized, detail oriented, observant.
• Calm and effective communicator.
• Helpful, patient and sympathetic.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for MRI examinations and assist on/off examination table.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor patient safety during scans.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness protocols on the imaging unit.

A joint venture partnership between UPMC and Touchstone Medical Imaging, the nationwide leader in outpatient imaging, offers comprehensive medical imaging in one location.

We're seeking full-time MRI Technologist

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, daytime hours. No on-call or holidays

Qualifications:

• Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality

• Graduate of approved program for Radiological Technology

• Lifting, moving, positioning and assisting patients on/off examination table
• Walking 25% of shift, standing 50% of shift, sitting 25% of shift
