Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Centers is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Lansdowne outpatient MRI suite. The role offers a weekend schedule (Saturday & Sunday) with a part-time arrangement, no holidays and no call, and a sign-on bonus eligibility.

You will work with cutting-edge GE and Philips MRI platforms to deliver high-quality imaging in a patient-friendly environment. In this role you will perform routine and specialty MRI exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, document procedures in PACS/RIS,

Qualifications

• 6+ months of MRI experience or completion of a formal MRI training program.
• ARRT (R) or MRI certification, or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine MRI exams with confidence and accuracy.
• Produce high-quality images that meet radiologist expectations with minimal repeats.
• Deliver a calm, supportive patient experience during every exam.
• Operate within clearly defined MRI safety zones and follow best practices.
• Maintain imaging protocols and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to provide timely diagnostic services.

Qualifications

Compensation & Growth:

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:

$41.65 - $56.35 per hour (plus weekend differential)
