Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Centers in Fairfax, VA, is seeking an MRI Technologist – Outpatient for a full-time, Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM role with no holidays, no call, and no weekends. You will work in a dedicated outpatient center using GE 1.5T/3T systems, delivering high-quality imaging with patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months MRI experience or completed MRI training, ARRT(R) or MRI certification (or ARMRIT), and BLS.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of MRI experience or completion of an MRI training program.
• ARRT(R) or MRI certification, or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine MRI exams with confidence and accuracy.
• Operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems.
• Deliver high-quality imaging with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Follow MRI safety protocols and document in PACS/RIS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely diagnostic imaging.
• Support patients through exams with clear communication and reassurance

Qualifications
Required

• 6+ months of MRI experience or completion of an MRI training program

Compensation & GrowthBased on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
