Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Centers' MRI Center in Fairfax, VA is seeking an MRI Technologist for outpatient imaging. The schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with no holidays, no call, and no weekends, and a sign-on bonus may be eligible.

You’ll operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems, deliver high-quality imaging, and ensure patient safety and comfort while collaborating with radiologists in a supportive outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months MRI experience or completion of an MRI training program
• ARRT (R) or MRI certification, or ARMRIT certification
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialty MRI exams, including breast imaging
• Deliver high-quality imaging with emphasis on patient safety and comfort
• Operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems
• Follow MRI safety protocols and document in PACS/RIS
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely diagnostic imaging
• Support patients through exams with clear communication and reassurance

Qualifications

Required

Compensation & Growth:

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:

$41.65 - $56.35 per hour (plus generous shift differential)
