The MRI Technologist I performs procedures following departmental protocols, operating MRI scanners and related equipment proficiently, including post-processing stations, IV contrast injectors, patient monitoring, and transport equipment.
Moderate to heavy lifting, standing, walking, bending, and exposure to physical conditions such as stairs and moving equipment. Follow radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program or active enrollment in ARMRIT or ARRT registry-eligible program. ARRT certification required within one year of hire. CPR certification required.
