Shift hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7a - 8p

Job Summary
The MRI Technologist I performs procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. Operates MRI Scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency. This equipment includes scanners, post-processing stations/programs, IV contrast injectors, O2 and suction equipment, patient transport, and patient monitoring equipment.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting. Frequently requires stretching, bending, twisting, squatting, or kneeling. May be exposed to various physical conditions such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, and proximity to moving equipment. Must follow radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA-approved Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program or actively enrolled in an ARMRIT or ARRT registry-eligible program. ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine, and advanced registry from ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI are required within one year of hire. CPR certification is required and must be current.
