Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services with compassionate patient care. The role involves coordinating with radiologists, maintaining imaging standards, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The position requires 2-year AMA-approved radiologic training, Florida license (CRT), ARRT certifications, and BLS. Weekend availability is needed to support imaging services across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) in good standing.
• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI equipment and obtain high-quality MR images.
• Adjust technical factors to optimize imaging and administer contrast when needed.
• Position patients safely and maintain patient modesty during exams.
• Document clinical information and obtain informed consent prior to exams.
• Communicate with radiologist and care team; ensure equipment cleanliness and supplies.
• Accept on-call and call-back duties to support patient care.
