Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks an MRI Technologist to independently perform diagnostic MRI procedures, assess data, and assist licensed practitioners while ensuring patient safety and high-quality images in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT MR (or ARMRIT/NMTCB with MR credential) and a radiologic technology graduate, with strong MRI safety knowledge, protocol experience, and a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certified by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR credential.
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology training program; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety, technical protocols, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical histories with confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to ensure safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist with MRI interventional procedures and select suitable pulse sequences based on protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate full proficiency in routine and complex duties.
