Job summary

Radia Imaging Center in Kirkland, WA is seeking an MRI Technologist for a regular full-time role. You will operate MRI scanners, start IVs, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency in a four-MRI-site environment.

Requirements include WA X-ray license, ARRT, MRI registry within 6 months, BLS/CPR, and about 1 year of MRI experience. Some on-call coverage at Redmond location is required. Excellent teamwork and patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (WA X-ray license, ARRT).
• Advanced MRI registry required within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• 1 year MRI experience preferred.
• Some on-call coverage at Redmond location.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanner and power injector; starts IVs and administers contrast.
• Protocols orders in advance according to procedures.
• Screens orders for precautions or contraindications before scans.
• Provides professional patient care and supports safety standards.
• Manages patient flow to meet productivity and quality targets.
• De-escalates conflicts when possible and seeks help when needed.
