Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license (x-ray).
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• One year of MRI technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and power injector for studies.
• Start IVs and administer contrast agents as protocolled.
• Screen orders for precautions or contraindications prior to scan.
• Provide professional, compassionate patient care.
• Monitor patient flow to meet productivity and safety standards.
• De-escalate conflicts and seek assistance when needed.

Education

Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program

Advanced MRI registry within 6 months of hire

Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR

1 year MRI tech experience preferred
