Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and power injector; start IVs and administer contrast agents.

• Screen orders for precautions/contraindications (implanted devices etc.).
• Provide patient care professionally and compassionately.
• Manage patient flow to meet productivity, quality, health, and safety standards.
• De-escalate conflicts when possible; escalate when beyond training.

Salary Range: $50.79 To $85.58 Hourly

Radia is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our distinguished team of MRI professionals to join our team in Kirkland, WA. Our facility boasts a comprehensive suite of imaging technology, including four MRI machines, three of which are state-of-the-art, and two of those have 3T capabilities. We conduct a wide spectrum of MRI studies, ranging from basic to highly advanced procedures. Compensation:

The salary range is $50.79-85.58/hour. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The compensation listed is based on full-time employment status, full-time is 40 hours per week.

Hours available: 4/10's Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday (10:30am-9:00pm) or 3/12's Monday, Tuesday & Friday 8:30am-9:00pm

Position Summary:

• Utilizes an MRI scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents
• Appropriately protocol all orders in advance
• Properly screen orders prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications including, but not limited, to implanted devices
• Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
• Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
• Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)
• Advanced registry in MRI required within 6 months of hire
• Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
• 1 year of experience as a successful MRI tech preferred
• Some on-call coverage at our Redmond location is required
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
