Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to join our diagnostic imaging team across Georgia locations. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and support radiologists in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced MRI certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
• One to three years of experience in MRI or related imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment related to patient care imaging and EMR.
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and obtain informed consent.
• Prepare and position patients using standardized protocols for high-quality images.
• Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities (ACR).
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and manage risks related to ferromagnetic objects.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and departmental policies.
• Maintain MRI supplies and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Follow ARRT Ethics and complete continuing education.
• Support department goals as a team member.
