Job summary

OrthoAtlanta, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our orthopedic imaging team in Johns Creek/Lawrenceville. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification (or within 6 months of hire), 1–3 years of MRI experience, and current BLS. Join a supportive team using advanced imaging technology to deliver high-quality diagnostic care.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced MRI certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
• 1–3 years of MRI or related imaging experience.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong MRI safety standards and imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and related patient imaging, processing, and records.
• Instruct patients and obtain informed consent; provide history to radiologists/physicians.
• Position patients and ensure high quality diagnostic images per protocols; verify image quality before interpretation.
• Participate in quality improvement, accreditation, QA/QC per vendor and ACR guidelines.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance; monitor risks and assist in resolutions.
• Manage MRI supplies and assist with calibration and maintenance.
• Adhere to ARRT Ethics; complete continuing education; support department goals.
