Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. You will perform advanced MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging.

The role requires ARRT MR and ARMRIT credentials, BLS, and IV competency within 30 days. A 40‑hour week, sign‑on bonus up to $5,000, and relocation assistance are available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required or eligible.
• ARMRIT credential preferred.
• ARRT R cross‑trained in MRI is required or beneficial.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations per protocols with emphasis on safety, comfort and quality.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems with accurate documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines and infection prevention practices.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and staff to deliver patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
