Job summary

Intermountain Health's Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging and support a diverse patient population.

You will operate MRI equipment, follow safety protocols, collaborate with radiologists and care teams, and participate in training and mentoring students. This is a full-time role with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required.
• ARMRIT certification preferred.
• ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations per department protocols with patient safety and comfort in mind.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and infection prevention practices.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members.
