Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced MRI procedures under supervision, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. Overtime and coverage at other sites may be required. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available.

Minimum qualifications include AMA approved radiology education, BLS, ARRT certification, and 1–2 years hospital experience with PACS knowledge. Familiarity with RIS and PACS is preferred, with emphasis on magnet safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology or MRI Program.
• BLS and ARRT; maintain licensure and CEUs annually.
• 1–2 years hospital experience; PACS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information for MRI procedures.
• Assess patient condition to determine exam readiness.
• Document use of contrast in EPIC and allergy info.
• Perform MRI exams following clinical protocols and post-processing.
• Use RIS/PACS tracking with high accuracy.
• Maintain patient safety and equipment safety protocols.
