Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care. The role involves selecting appropriate parameters, administering contrast agents, and supporting invasive MRI-guided procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety protocols, transporting and preparing patients, documenting procedures, and providing patient education while coordinating care with the imaging team.

Qualifications

• Three to four years of MRI experience with the ability to independently perform protocols.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification upon hire, or relevant internal experience; BLS certification required.

• Maintaining safety protocols, including patient screening, environment security, and equipment quality control.
• Transporting and preparing patients, verifying orders, and communicating effectively to promote patient understanding and comfort.
• Documenting procedures, ensuring timely image processing, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Providing patient education, supporting care coordination, and upholding professional standards consistent with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
  

Qualifications Include

• Associate's degree or accredited MRI/Radiologic Technology certificate.
• Three to four years of MRI experience with the ability to independently perform protocols.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification upon hire, or relevant internal experience; BLS certification required.
