Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI studies and provide compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate will have Radiology Technology training, ARRT MR certification or equivalent, NH licensure, and 1–2 years MRI experience. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training (AMA approved).
• ARRT(MR) certification preferred; ARRT(R) certification or equivalent required.
• State licensure by NH Board of Medical Imaging required.
• 1–2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast and invasive procedures.
• Inspect images for quality and proper documentation; present images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Assist Radiologist with invasive procedures as required.
• Remain current with changing MRI technologies and protocols.
• Keep up with latest MRI advancements and CEUs.

About the Job

Performs all aspects of MRI by producing high quality images and providing compassion and comfort to all patients.

What You'll Do

• Performs exams in MRI including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast exams and invasive procedures
• Inspects all images performed for quality and proper documentation. Presents completed images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures as required
• Remains current with changing MRI technologies and protocols
• Remains current with latest MRI advancements and techniques through literature and CEUs

Who You Are

• Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA approved school to meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT in Radiology or equivalent training required.
• ARRT(MR) certification preferred. ARRT(R) certification or equivalent required.
• State of NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure required
• One to two years of general MRI experience preferred
