Job summary

Southern NH Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging exams with compassion and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images and proper documentation for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires ARRT certification/licensure in NH, with preferred MR certification and 1–2 years of MRI experience. You’ll collaborate with radiology staff to provide patient-centered care and stay current with evolving MRI techniques.

Qualifications

• Two years of Radiology Technology training from an AMA approved school.
• ARRT(R) certification or equivalent required; MR certification preferred.
• State licensure in NH required by the Board of Medical Imaging.
• 1–2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams including trauma, orthopedics, fluoroscopic, contrast and invasive procedures.
• Inspect images for quality and documentation; present to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Assist Radiologist with invasive procedures as required.
• Stay current with MRI technologies and protocols.
• Pursue ongoing CEUs to maintain up-to-date MRI knowledge.

About the Job:

Performs all aspects of MRI by producing high quality images and providing compassion and comfort to all patients.

What You’ll Do:

• Performs exams in MRI including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast exams and invasive procedures
• Inspects all images performed for quality and proper documentation. Presents completed images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures as required
• Remains current with changing MRI technologies and protocols
• Remains current with latest MRI advancements and techniques through literature and CEUs

Who You Are:

• Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA approved school to meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT in Radiology or equivalent training required.
• ARRT(MR) certification preferred. ARRT(R) certification or equivalent required.
• State of NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure required
• One to two years of general MRI experience preferred
