Summary:

Our MRI Technologists perform MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis. They prepare and position patients, inject contrast media, and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARM RIT) with an Associate Degree focused on medical imaging, preferably MRI.

Licensure, Certification, Registration:

• ARRT certification in Radiography OR ARRT MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
