Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, position patients, and ensure safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.

You will collaborate with radiologists and technologists, explain procedures clearly, and uphold standards of care in a fast-paced clinical environment. A minimum of one year in MRI is preferred, with ARMRIT/ARRT MR certification highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program Radiologic Technology
• ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical MRI setting preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Explain procedures and obtain consent while addressing patient questions.
• Verify patient identity and appropriate exam orders before starting.
• Position patients and select proper coil, sequences, and parameters.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and comfort for patients.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists across modalities.
