Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform a wide range of MR procedures, prepare patients, position them for exams and ensure comfort and safety throughout the study.

Must have Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, and at least 1 year of MRI experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this busy clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical MRI experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess conditions.
• Follow procedures for contrast administration with patient safety in mind.
• Ensure proper patient identification and privacy.
• Review images, ensure quality, and release patients.
• Respond to emergencies and support other technologists as needed.
