Job summary

Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center seeks a dedicated Non-Registered MRI Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and supportive patient experiences. The role is full-time, daytime shift, with a focus on collaboration within a multidisciplinary imaging team.

Responsibilities include patient care, exam prep, positioning, contrast administration prep, and ensuring privacy and safety. Requires ARRT-R eligible or certified tech with BLS, and proficiency with MRI, PACS/RIS systems, and

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R certification obtained and current.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality imaging and patient-friendly experiences.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Prepare and position patients, assist with procedures and biopsies if applicable.
• Verify patient identity, review history, and follow pre/post procedure care.
• Maintain equipment, clean/disinfect, and report malfunctions.
