Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater seeks an MRI Technologist for a PRN role (4 shifts in a 6-week cycle, including weekends). You will perform diagnostic MR procedures across BayCare facilities.

Responsibilities include imaging patient care, RIS data management, file-room duties, clerical tasks, physician assistance and patient transport. Requires AS degree in Radiology or related field, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Radiology or related field.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures.
• Manage imaging patient care and RIS data; perform file-room and clerical duties; assist physicians and transport patients.
• Other related duties as necessary.

POSITION: MRI TECH SRO PRN (4 shifts in 6-week schedule to include 2 weekend shifts)

Floating in region 1 includes floating to the following hospitals:

St Anthony's St Petersburg

Morton Plant Clearwater

Mease Dunedin

Mease Countryside Clearwater

Morton Plant Northbay New Port Richey

Responsibilities - MRI Technologist:

• Performs diagnostic MR procedures.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Other related duties as necessary.

Education:

• Required: Associate of Science degree.
• Or, Associates Radiology.
• Or, Technical Radiology.

Credentials:

• Required: BLS.
• Required: ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – Relevant Specialty.
• Or, ARMRIT (MRI) within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.

Experience:

• Required: Associate in science degree, 1 year of MRI specific training.
• If an Associates in Radiology or Technical Radiology, 1 year of Radiology or MRI.
