Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join our imaging team. You will perform MRI exams per protocol on a variety of body parts, ensure proper pre-exam screening, patient preparation, and accurate documentation.

You will verify orders, administer contrast media when needed, establish IV access, and transport patients as required to keep the workflow smooth. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and collaboration with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiography program is required.
• ARRT RT and MR certifications required.
• 1 year Radiology Tech experience and 2 years MRI experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• MRI certification must be obtained within 60 months of start date.
• CV Tech/NMT/ARRT registered radiographer credentials are considered.

Responsibilities

• You will perform MRI exams per protocol on various body parts.
• You will complete pre-exam screening and patient preparation tasks.
• You will verify orders, administer contrast media as needed, and handle IVs.
• You will transport and position patients and maintain workflow efficiency.
