Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MR imaging. You will present images and patient history to the Radiologist for diagnostic reports, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT registration, BCLS, and 2–3 years MRI experience. On-call availability and rapid response within one hour are expected. Centerpoint offers comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
ARRT registered or eligible; MR preferred on hire or within 1 year.
BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
On Call required and must report within one hour of call back.

Responsibilities

Compassionately assist and position patients.
Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
Release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and sterilize equipment.
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
