Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or diploma in Radiology Technology required.
• Current ARRT licensure required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• MRI Registry within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations and related procedures under Radiologist and MRI Supervisor guidance.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and maintain MRI safety standards.
• Establish professional relationships with staff and medical personnel to ensure patient care quality.
• Document exam results in the Radiology RIS system after completion of exams.
• Call or fax preliminary results per hospital policy and maintain “Read Back and Verified.” policy.
• Monitor supply levels and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Participate in on-call schedule as required by the department.
