Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring
MRI Technologists to join our growing Imaging team in
Temple, Texas. Our
MRI Department includes 14 experienced technologists and operates with
four Siemens scanners-two 1.5T and two 3T-supporting a wide range of advanced imaging procedures.
We are seeking
certified MRI Technologists. Radiologic Technologists interested in cross-training into MRI are also encouraged to apply. Join a collaborative, patient-focused team that values clinical excellence, flexibility, and innovation.

Job SummaryUnder general supervision, performs MRI procedures on patients for diagnosis, following protocols.
Essential Functions- Performs high-quality MRI procedures timely and according to standards.
- Communicates with patients using AIDET, explains procedures, and assesses tolerance.
- Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
- Adheres to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
- Maintains equipment and work area; reports issues.
- Ensures safety screening and maintains documentation.
Key Success Factors- Performs quality MRI procedures efficiently.
- Communicates well and provides excellent patient care.
- Works independently and maintains professionalism under stress.
- Administers first aid and handles emergencies.
- Ensures patient satisfaction and maintains current knowledge.
- Serves as preceptor and takes call if required.
Qualifications include MRI certification, with experience preferred but not required. Certification by ARRT-MR or ARMRIT is necessary.
