Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, seeks an MRI Technologist for a PRN role in the Radiology Department. The position involves preparing patients and equipment and performing studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.

Qualifications include an Associate/Trade School equivalency, no prior experience required, and relevant licenses/certifications (RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES). CPR and IV therapy are also required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Illinois IEMA license restrictions and a set of radiologic tech certifications (RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES).
• CPR and Intravenous Therapy certifications are preferred or required.
• Experience preferred: less than 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
