Job summary

Plan A Health is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams and support patient diagnosis across multiple sites. The role requires independent MRI imaging, patient preparation, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include on-call imaging, site-specific procedures, and collaboration with the care team to ensure smooth department workflow. Relevant ARRT certification and related imaging experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• ARRT certification.
• Preferred experience in MRI/CT or related imaging modalities.
• Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and CPR/IV therapy certifications preferred.

Role Overview: This position is for a PRN MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI exams, to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Perform MRI exams independently, including on-call, portable, and various site-specific procedures.
• Assist with patient care, department workflow, MRI safety screenings, and exam preparation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MRI.
• Preferred experience in MRI, CT, radiology, or related imaging modalities, with less than two years of experience being advantageous.
• Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), along with CPR and IV therapy certifications preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to work as needed, with ARRT certification.
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of MRI safety protocols.
