Job summary

The Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, maintain equipment, and support departmental operations with a focus on quality imaging.

Ideal candidates hold ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience. You will communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with staff to deliver compassionate care while upholding privacy and regulatory

Qualifications

  • Radiologic Technology certification with ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, and BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, preferably in MRI settings.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, multitasking, and team collaboration skills.
  • Competence in MRI procedures, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures independently, including equipment setup and patient positioning.

  • Transporting and assisting patients, supporting departmental operations, and performing clerical duties as needed.
  • Producing acceptable images, transmitting studies to PACS, and maintaining a safe MRI environment.
  • Participating in training, quality control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
