Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with independence, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, preparing and positioning patients, reviewing image quality, and responding to emergencies. Minimum qualifications are a Radiologic Technology certificate, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, and BLS, with at least one year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Radiologic Technology (required).

• At least 1 year of clinical MRI experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures with independence.
• Obtain patient history and prepare/position patients.
• Review image quality and adjust protocols as needed.
• Administer contrast media when indicated.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain patient safety.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and quality control.
• Support department operations and document procedures.
• Train team members as needed.
