Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Responsibilities include conducting MRI examinations with appropriate protocols, evaluating image quality, and participating in on-call duties. The ideal candidate will be ARRT-MR or ARMRIT registered and possess a strong knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning. A minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Qualifications

• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
• Two years’ experience as MRI technologist in a hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images.
• Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determine if additional imaging is needed.
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned.

Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist PRN, you would perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning for optimum imaging. You would explain the procedure to the patient and address any questions or concerns.

• Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
• Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determine if additional imaging is required prior to communicating procedure information to radiologist.
• Participate in on‑call duties as assigned to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• ARRT‑MR or ARMRIT Registered
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Two years’ experience as MRI technologist in a hospital environment preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited MRI program preferred.
