The role you’ll contribute:

The MRI Technologist II’s primary duties include imaging neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines, transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation, and updating the hospital computer system with exam progress. The Tech II may also perform additional duties such as tracking supplies, ensuring smooth operations, performing complex exams, teaching students and new technologists, and other tasks as assigned. Active participation in outstanding customer service and maintaining respectful relationships are essential.

• Performs all MRI exams, including complex ones, using FH MRI protocols. Properly identifies patients, educates them about the exam, and ensures timely completion of exams.
• Operates all equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors. Adapts protocols for patients of all ages.
• Properly screens individuals entering the MRI facility for contraindications. Maintains a clean and organized room, reports low supplies, and performs QA within ACR guidelines. Completes initial training on handling pharmaceutical waste and PPE use.
