Job summary

FRIO REGIONAL HOSPITAL is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to perform scans and assist in diagnosing patient conditions. You will operate and maintain MR equipment in accordance with safety protocols and collaborate with radiologists to interpret imaging results.

You will use aseptic techniques, keep accurate records, and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. The role requires ARRT(MR), Texas license, and BLS certification, with a focus on precision and teamwork in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Perform scans to assist in the diagnosis of patients’ conditions
• Operate and maintain the equipment in compliance with protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient comfort and safety during scans

Education and/or Experience

• Prior experience working with required technology and conducting diagnostic evaluations
• Proficiency in using medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Strong understanding of required technology and its applications in medical imaging
• Ability to perform scans with precision and attention to detail
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
