Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join the Imaging department. Under physician direction, you will perform MRI exams for patients of all ages, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

This role emphasizes independence with limited supervision and requires ARRT MR certification within a year, BLS within 7 days, and radiography credentials. The PRN schedule supports a flexible career path in a community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support or BLS within 7 days of start date.
• ARRT-MR certification obtained within 1 year of start date.
• ARRT-R radiography credential.
• Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations under physician direction for patients of all ages.
• Demonstrate independent judgment with minimal supervision in the imaging department.
• Apply advanced MRI knowledge and work with students and staff in MRI technology.
• Assess patient needs and tailor care based on the required treatment plan.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a MRI Tech you will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department. • Under the direction of a physician, you will perform MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examination to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge.

• You will be expected to perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision, and the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.

• You will be responsible for advanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment, examinations and working with students, staff teaching MRI technology.

• You will be responsible for the assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

• Associate Degree
